Discover a brief history of Letchworth Garden City, with local historian, Josh Tidy.
From Ebenezer Howard's radical ideas through the growth of the town, with its Arts & Crafts architecture, industry, gardens, folk traditions, wartime efforts, and much more besides, illustrated with over a hundred brilliant photographs from Letchworth's ACE-accredited museum service, the Garden City Collection.
Josh Tidy is the Heritage Manager at Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation, where he has been exploring and celebrating the history of this unique town for almost twenty years, appearing on radio and tv shows and publishing four books along the way.
Tickets are £10 and include refreshments.
This talk co-insides with Letchworth: Lives and Landscapes exhibition at the Broadway Gallery and will be open before and after the talk.
