Letchworth Comic Con Art Competition

Calling all heroes, villains, and creative masterminds! The Letchworth Comic Con Art Competition is back, and bigger than ever! This is your chance to show off your comic book flair, and it’s completely free to enter. Whether you’re sketching an original character, reimagining a classic, or inventing a whole new world, we want to see your boldest, most dynamic A4 artwork.

Grab your pens, pencils, or tablets and bring your imagination to life on paper. Create your own hero, reinvent a legend, or design an entire comic universe, the choice is yours.

Broadway Gallery will be hosting and supporting the Comic Con Art Competition from Wednesday 24 June – Saturday 11 July 2026, with prize winners announced on Saturday 27 June 2026 as part of the Comic Con celebrations.

Prize Categories
• Ages 5–11
• Ages 12–16
• Ages 17+

How to Enter
Free and open to everyone.
Submit one unframed artwork, no larger than A4, single-sided.

What to Create
Anything comic-inspired — fan art, favourite heroes or villains, your own characters, or original comic stories.

How to Apply

Submissions will open on Wednesday 20 May. Artwork must be delivered to the Broadway Gallery between Wednesday 17 June and Saturday 20 June 2026, from 10am to 5pm each day. Further information will be provided closer to the time.
